The exhibition aims to present the substance and significance of the Agreement on Succession Issues, which, at the time of its conclusion, was seen as a sign of hope for stability in the region and as the cornerstone of neighbourly political, economic and cultural relations among the newly- formed states. The exhibition showcases key events related to the agreement, along with Slovenia’s tangible achievements in the succession process starting from independence. After its opening in the National Assembly of Slovenia in June 2016, the exhibition has been travelling around the succession states. The exhibition was prepared by the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia in cooperation with Radio-Television Slovenia and the Slovenian Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Archives.
